POSTCARE INSTRUCTIONS
FOR BEST RESULTS
YOU MUST FOLLOW THIS REGIMEN OF DAILY CARE
Please be patient and allow your makeup to fully heal before judging the results. The healing process causes excess swelling and temporary color variance. Follow up appointments can be scheduled for 3-4 weeks after Eyebrow and Eyeliner procedures, and 6 weeks for Lip procedures, at which time we can make any adjustments to your makeup you find necessary. 72 hours after your procedure topical makeup may be applied to fill any sparse areas of your tattoo.
*Please note that it is unsafe to do a follow up procedure in the treated area sooner than the 3 or 6 weeks to allow the dermis to properly heal.
Eyebrows

Lip Liner and/or Full Lip Procedure
DO NOT PANIC THE COLOR WILL LIGHTEN!!!
Lips will feel swollen and tender for a few days following the procedure. In fact, the majority of women enjoy the fuller shape of their lips following the procedure. However, if you are uncomfortable with the swelling, you may apply an ice pack (which is protected with a wet barrier film of paper towel) for 10 minute increments for the first couple of days. Ice may be applied in one hour intervals.
You will notice that on the second day post procedure, your lips will start to slough off the pigment. Do not pick at your lips. Allow your lips to slough off the pigment naturally. Usually, by day 4 or 5 the sloughing is complete. Your lips, at that time, will be quite light in color. However, they will begin to become more colorful with each passing week up to 6 weeks. They will soften into the beautiful shade you have been patiently waiting for.
Days 1-5 - Generously apply A&D ointment or Vaseline as often as needed. When showering let soap and water flow over the treated area. No scrubbing
-
Stay out of the sun (even up to 6 weeks) as the sun will quickly fade color.
-
Be careful when brushing your teeth as toothpaste may draw out pigment.
-
Do not bite into greasy, oily, salty or spicy foods, rather cut them up and place them into your mouth.
-
Consistently apply only the aftercare ointment (A&D) that was provided to your lips. Use a clean Q-tip with each application. Do not use any antibiotic creams unless required by doctor to do so.
-
Do not pick or pull off the sloughing pigment, let it fall off naturally. If needed, use sterile scissors to cut off large flaps.
-
After all the pigment has sloughed off, you will want to use a non-medicated lip balm to hydrate and protect the new skin.
-
If you have not yet achieved the desired intensity of color you may begin to wear your lipstick after the first 5 days.
-
Make sure you take antiviral medication to help prevent cold sores, if needed.
